As my clients Technical Sales Engineer, you will utilise your technical sales experience to proactively grow their customer account base and increase the sales within it.We are looking for someone who will proactively seek out sales through direct interaction with existing customers and equally procure new business opportunities. The successful candidate will be responsible for their own account base and customers, buildingstrong business relationships, and ensuring every order placed is to the highest standard.Your tasks will include:Key Duties:* Answer incoming sales calls.* Monitor and respond to customer email enquiries.* Provide support and problem solve customer queries/challenges at every opportunity.* Create quotes and progress orders based on customer requirements.* Provide a customer-centric approach throughout all customer contact.* Maintain and grow current customer relationships.* Proactively seek out new business opportunities and convert them into new customers and orders.About You:* You will be expected to converse politely and efficiently with new and existing customers ensuring high expectations are met and you will be responsible for taking a lead or enquiry from point of sale to delivery.* Experience in a similar sector.* Confident communicator at all levels.* The ability to work as part of a team, but also be able to work on your own initiative.* CAD experience and the ability to read technical drawing is required.* Knowledge and understanding of metal specifications.
