Job Description

Technical Lead (Electrical/High Voltage) £65,000 - £70,000 + 26 Days Holiday + 12% Pension + BenefitsSheffield, Remote WorkingDo you have experience in early stage project development working on high voltage systems or components looking for a highly autonomous role where you will be part of a team of technical experts working on high stakes projects for a global leader in powergenerationIn this role you will be working on early stage project development for hydrogen, natural gas, hydroelectric and other power generation solutions. You will be responsible for delivering feasibility studies, setting specifications for the design team, reviewingcontractors work and preparing projects ahead of EPC.This multinational company design and build power generation and storage technology across the UK and Europe. They are responsible for generating over 20GW of power across Europe and are looking to increase the UKs capacity significantly over the next 10years, having sustainability at the heart of their business.This role would suit an Electrical Engineer or Technical Manager who is looking for a role with high autonomy and responsibility, liaising with stakeholders and reviewing designs and proposals, offering progression to senior positions and remote working.The Role:

  • Early stage development for power generation and storage projects
  • Creating specifications and reviewing proposals for the design team
  • Reviewing external contractors work in line with company expectations
  • Working from home as part of a closely-knit team of technical specialists
  • Travel to Nottingham once a fortnight for team meetings
