Job Description

Community Support Worker - Sheffield - £10+ per hour. Chase Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a local specialised care provider in the Sheffield area who are in need of a flexible Community Support Worker. Youll be working with service users who have a variety of needs including mental health, learning difficulties and mobility issues and making a huge differencein their lives!Our client is committed to supporting you to be the best you can be with training included for your CPD and is able to work around your schedule with flexible shift types.As a Community Support Worker, your role would include:

  • Providing 1-2-1 care for patients in their own homes, helping them get up in the morning/assisting them going to bed at night.
  • Assisting with personal care, in some cases including continence care.
  • Meal preparation and feeding.
  • Some light domestic duties may be required.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently.
The ideal Community Support Worker will have:
  • Prior experience working as a support worker in a homecare setting, 12-months minimum.
  • Experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health and impaired mobility preferred.
  • A live DBS available (we can run one for you if you dont already hold one)
  • A Level 3 in Health and Social is preferred but willing to accept an applicant at Level 2 providing you are willing to train up.
  • A person-centred approach to care with a kind a compassionate nature.
