Job Description

Supply Chain ManagerSheffieldCompetitive SalaryChase & Holland are excited to be working with a well-established forward thinking manufacturing business based in Sheffield who are recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to join their team.This key role which will make a significant contribution to the continued growth and success of the company will suit an individual with strong purchasing and supply chain leadership experience and a strong background working within highly regulated manufacturingenvironments.Supply Chain Manager Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate creativity and diversity to deliver excellent customer service and achieve positive outcomes in line with the Companys mission, vision and values
  • Ensuring that purchasing and supply chain activity meets customer and business requirements
  • Managing crucial key suppliers to improve and deliver on time and in line with requirements
  • Set the direction of the department, which is aligned to the overall company strategy, as set by the directors
  • Manage KPIs and present findings in monthly meetings
  • Organise, plan, prioritise and allocate all work to the department to achieve targets and deadlines
  • Respond to any challenge proactively with a range of well researched/costed solutions
  • Lead and control all activity for Purchasing, and Logistics operations
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, working closely with production and commercial teams to maximise productivity
  • Managing a team of two
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday 37.5 hours (Flexible hours)Required Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience working within a supply chain role gained within a highly regulated manufacturing industry
  • Excellent communication, presentation and reporting skills
  • Flexibility for occasional travel (visiting suppliers)
  • Team management experience
  • Strong
  • ERP systems experience (EFACS Desirable)
  • Intermediate Excel experience
