The services offered through Tes.com play a critical role in helping teachers and school leaders deal with the challenges of providing high quality education to millions of children across the globe.Role overview:The primary objective of the role is to successfully manage and drive key accounts, defined by the business, to achieve revenue growth across the entire Tes product portfolio.Owning a number of key accounts personally and leading the Strategic Account team through strong leadership and focus enabling continued revenue growth across all strategic accounts, with primary focus around Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) and Groups both in the UK and Internationally. Identifying growing MATs and Groups and developing strategies to develop them into key Tes accounts.This role is all about building credible and mutually beneficial client relationships, being a coach and point of escalation to the Strategic Accounts team on bid/tender processes, developing the team to achieve their revenue targets through thought leadership and developing the sales methodology in line with the Tes Vision. With the ability to develop existing and new large ticket accounts and generate extensive new revenue streams from a client centric, technically minded solution-sales perspective.Key role responsibilities:

  • Achieving agreed revenue targets (personally and via the team), pipeline reporting and forecasting
  • Building and maintaining ongoing strategic C level and/or C-Level -1 customer relationships across the customer organisation
  • Expand our reach into key sectors both in the UK & Internationally. This role is tasked with maximizing the value our customer derives from their investment with Tes and seeking new consulting opportunities
  • Identifying opportunities to grow new business revenue streams with existing clients
  • Manage a dynamic and robust ROI history to support the renewal and retention of the key accounts. Forecasting and tracking client account metrics.
  • Coaching and developing the Strategic Accounts team.
  • Generating sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
  • Work with the marketing team to design targeted campaigns and content that resonates with key accounts.
  • Ensuring that the Product team is kept informed about customer developments/needs and this feeds into Product design.
  • Creating a high performing sales culture and a collaborative environment within the Strategic Accounts team.
  • Working as a member of the leadership team within the sales function, helping to shape and implement business change in line with the wider Tes strategy. Education and experience requirements:
  • A track record of successful selling at Major Account level with a minimum sales and revenue responsibility of GBP10m/per annum.
  • Previous experience selling SaaS Solutions
  • Tangible evidence of consistent individual over-achievement - you will be a high performer and target driven;
  • Strong Relationship Management skills and ability to communicate and influence at C-level -1 with demonstrable business success;
  • A deep understanding of Education Sector is preferable, with an understanding of the key challenges and motivators within the sector.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities;
  • Must demonstrate the ability to manage/lead in a rapidly changing environment;
  • Strong coach - tangible evidence of developing team members in sales methodology and strategic account management
  • Experience of working as part of a management team, and the ability to get results through influence and persuasion and being a strong and positive change agent. What do you get in return
