The team bases are at Badsley Moor Lane, Rotherham, and Tickhill Road Hospital, Doncaster.The Perinatal Mental Health Service is a growing specialist service for women with mental health problems who are thinking of becoming pregnant, are already pregnant or have given birth in the last 12 months.We provide a flexible service that meets the needs of women and their families. Appointments are offered in a number of locations and care is tailored to the needs of the families we work with.You will need to be an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a real passion for perinatal mental health. Experience in this field is not essential and full induction is offered. You should have attained a level of experience proportionate to the competencies detailed in the job description, possess the skills as detailed in the person specification and be able to work autonomously and with partner agencies. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect psychological interventions, providing high quality, responsive care and support to into the localities of Doncaster and Rotherham in the regional Perinatal Mental Health Service. We are a trauma informed service who seeks to understand presenting difficulties in the context of people’s whole lives and work with that to promote understanding. You will be a compassionate practitioner who wants to make a difference to families.Our operational hours are Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
