Job Description

Prospero Teaching are looking for a passionate Special Educational Needs Teacher with Maths Specialsim for a fantastic SEMH School in Sheffield for a September start.Your responsibilities within this role will include delivering the schools Maths Curriculum from KS3 TO GCSE.Both Part-Time and Full-Time applicants are being considered for this role.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Sheffield - S5
  • Position - Special Educational Needs Teacher - Maths Specialism
  • Start date - September 2022
  • Duration / Likely Duration - Fixed-term for 1 year
  • End date (if applicable) - 31/08/2023
  • Full time/part time - Full Time
  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £120 per day
  • Hours - 8:00am - 4:00pm
EXPERIENCE
  • Ability to deliver excellent teaching and have secure subject knowledge.
  • Experience of teaching students with Special Educational Needs.
  • Good understanding of how to assess student progress and make appropriate interventions to improve outcomes.
  • Be vibrant, engaging and reliable.
  • Be flexible in responding to the changing needs of the school and the curriculum.
  • Maths Teaching experience
TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • QTS, QTLS, PGCE, EYTS or equivalent
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
