Job Description

Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching AssistantLocation: Sheffield, United KingdomAbout the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive team. The successful candidate will be working in a vibrant school in Sheffield, assisting in the delivery of tailored educational programs to studentswith special educational needs.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and delivery of individual education plans (IEPs).
  • Support students in their learning and development, both academically and socially.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a consistent and holistic approach to the student’s learning.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of the students.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable.
  • NVQ Level 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative.
  • Patience and resilience with a positive attitude.
