Software QA Engineer Location: Sheffield/hybrid remote workingSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 DOEWe are delighted to be supporting our client on an exclusive basis in finding them 2x Software QA Engineers.Our client, an award-winning cloud software company, has grown exponentially over the last year, and will be continuing this upward trajectory. They are proud to be trusted by some of the biggest and most well-known brands in the entertainment industry. Theirstate-of-the-art technology services are housed at the headquarters in our wonderful City of Sheffield, although they do have offices globally. Due to further growth in the business, we are currently seeking 2x Software Quality Assurance Engineers to jointheir award-winning Research & Development team.The Role:As Software QA Engineer, you will collaborate with Software Developers and Product Managers to identify system requirements and provide detailed input into specifications and design. Day to day responsibilities will include:* Estimate, prioritise, plan and execute testing activities* Create detailed, easy-to-read test documentation* Design, develop and execute API tests using open source tools* Identify, record, document and track bugs throughout testing* Perform thorough regression testing* Research new testing tools, technologies and test strategies* Drive innovation and efficiencyAbout You:You must have previous experience in a commercial testing role in web-based environments. It will be clear that you are passionate about technology and pride yourself on excellent standards.
