Heron FoodsWe are a part of the B&M retail group and one of the UKs fastest growing food retailers with over 300 stores. We are really going places and to continue in our progressionwe need the right people to help us to build on our success.The RoleWe are looking for a new software developer to expand our team of six. This role is ideal for people who are innovative, have an eye for detail, love to learn new technologies and have the desire to design and develop high-quality software and to see thedifference that it makes to the business.Reporting to the Software Development Manager, you will be working in a collaborative, friendly environment with an experienced team. You will be using agile development practises and modern technologies to develop retail operations software to be deployedin a microservice environment in our in-house data centres.This is a full-time role that is primarily home-based with occasional visits to our head office in Melton, East Yorkshire. You will be provided with all of the necessary computing equipment and software required.Essential Skills / Experience
