Job Description

Job Title: Childrens Social Worker - Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)Location: SheffieldJob Type: Full-timeSalary Range: £31 per hourWe are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Childrens Social Worker to join our dynamic team in the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH). This role involves collaborative work with various agencies to assess and address the needs of childrenat risk.Responsibilities: As a Childrens Social Worker in the MASH, your key responsibilities will include:

  1. Information Gathering:
    • Collaborating with partner agencies, law enforcement, and health professionals to gather and analyze information regarding child protection concerns.
    • Conducting initial assessments to determine the level of risk and urgency.
  2. Multi-Agency Collaboration:
    • Working closely with professionals from different agencies within the MASH to share information and make informed decisions.
    • Participating in regular MASH meetings to discuss cases and formulate joint strategies.
  3. Risk Assessment:
    • Using a holistic approach to assess the level of risk to children and determine appropriate intervention strategies.
    • Collaborating with partner agencies to coordinate support and protective measures.
  4. Decision Making:
    • Making timely and well-informed decisions regarding the most appropriate course of action for children at risk.
    • Prioritizing cases based on the severity of concerns and urgency.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with MASH and organizational standards.
    • Preparing and contributing to comprehensive reports for case conferences, court proceedings, and other relevant forums.
What is required
  • Social Work Qualification
  • Relevant experience in working in Childrens Service
  • At least 2 years post qualifying experience
  • Full U.K driving licence - essential **
  • Clean DBS in date or on the update service
Working as a Qualified Social Worker with Service Care Solutions
  • We will pay you £150 after 4 weeks in an assignment if you have no previously worked with us
  • We offer £250 for every Qualified Social Worker you refer over to us
  • (£150 after 6 weeks in the assignment and £100 after completing 12 weeks)
  • We will offer £150 to you for sourcing your own job and referring it to Service Care Solutions
  • We will pay up to £250 each year to help with your Continuing Professional Development
  • We will pay a "thank you" bonus to you after each 12-month period you complete with Service Care Solutions
