REED Engineering are working with a leading Engineering & Manufacturing company with a global client base.Site Facilities and Compliance ManagerJob SummaryTo manage all aspects of the Company site facilities X3 (next to each other)This will include building & grounds maintenance, the management of utilities, the relevant health, safety and environmental controls, building security and fleet management. Carrying out and/or arranging to be carried out, planned/ responsive maintenance tomaintain legal compliance.Main Duties and Responsibilities Facilitating planned maintenance/servicing in line with Statutory requirements and set schedules. Responsive and Corrective maintenance in line with legal compliance. Responsible for record keeping of all statutory maintenance/servicing. Permitting activities associated with contractor controls. Utilities and infrastructure management (water, gas, electricityincluding rationalisation, drawing/plan generation, isolation procedures etc.) Insurance inspectionsPressure Systems, Cranes/Jibs, LEVs, MEWPs, etc. Mobile Plant fleet management. General Building & Grounds maintenance, HVAC, Legionella, Asbestos, etc. Contract management and cost control. Conduct H&S and Quality audits and risk assessments Compile and Conduct reviews of SWP / SOP documentation in line with Company requirements Facilitating the smooth operation of site security, cleaning and waste management activities. Control of maintenance & statutory inspections of site HV & LV networks Improving site energy management and driving electrical energy efficiency projects Working as part of a multifunctional engineering team to develop shared skills and competencies with the team. Delivering planned maintenance schedule adherenceSkills, Experience & QualificationDesirable Requirements: A strong Facilities / Engineering background Engineering/Facilities Management level qualification or equivalent. IOSH or NEBOSH qualification. Contract and Contractor Controls.Demonstrable Experience of: Knowledge of HSE Regulations, Legal Compliance and Statutory Requirements. Managing and maintaining health, safety and environment standards and processes. Strong negotiation skills. Knowledge of authorisations, processes, products, policies and proceduresThe position also includes a bonus paid quarterly of up to 10% (a maximum of £4,500 per year)
