The Spinal Injuries Centre in Sheffield is one of the largest SIC in the UK. This 60 bedded purpose built centre provides comprehensive care for patients following Acute Spinal Cord Injuries, their Rehabilitation and lifelong Continuing Care.We are seeking to recruit dynamic, forward thinking, and experienced nurses to work within the nursing leadership teams in the Outpatients Department. The Osborn wards provide holistic care for Spinal Cord Injury (SCI) patients, from the time of their first admission to the Centre for rehabilitation until their discharge from hospital. This acute and rehabilitation pathway includes 6 beds for patients requiring ventilator support, 2 beds for respiratory support (including patients with tracheostomies) along with beds for acute and rehabilitation patients.
