Ref:160Role: SEO ManagerSalary: £27,000 - £32,000 per annumLocation: Remote (company based in Sheffield) applicants must live within a 2 hour commuteHours: 9am to 5 pm Mon-Fri (although usually finish early on Fridays!)Remote unless client onsite meetings are required. All successful candidates will need to attend a 9:30am to 3:30pm development day in Sheffield each month.Looking for a better work/life balance A positive environment to learn and develop The opportunity to grow with a business and be rewarded for success Then this might be the right opportunity for you.The RoleOur SEO manager will be responsible for creating and implementing Search Engine Optimisation strategies for national and international clients, acting as both a consultant and a project manager for our clients SEO activity.Dealing directly with key stakeholders both internally and externally you will be required to show an excellent level of knowledge in SEO strategy and implementation as well as high levels of prioritising, organisation, communication, delegation and businessacumen.While you will have the support network of senior management and your colleagues, you will have overall autonomy and responsibility to manage your own portfolio of clients and help optimise the daily working practices of the SEO department.For your clients, you will be required to provide - In-depth analysis, creativity, problem-solving and implementation of the strategy.You will also be required to undertake audits for prospective clients as well as delegate and communicate actions with your SEO support staff in order to deliver performance for the clients.This is an exciting opportunity for an SEO professional who is ready to take the next step in their career in terms of role, knowledge and responsibility.The CompanyAn established digital agency that has been operating for over a decade at a high level. Ideally from an agency background (not essential, we will consider client-side SEO professionals depending on the level of experience).You must:

  • Be able to display relevant SEO experience.
  • Be competent at or have knowledge of the principles of technical SEO
  • Have at least 12 months of experience in a busy SEO focussed role.
  • Be professional and articulate.
  • Be comfortable communicating to all levels of society and roles.
  • Be able to demonstrate excellent English reading and writing skills.
  • Have strong organisational skills.
  • Be a confident decision-maker.
  • Be highly analytical.
  • Be competent with Microsoft office packages such as word and excel.
  • Understand basic customer service expectations and associated skills.
  • Google Analytics knowledge.
Advantageous to have (but not essential):
  • Link Building and outreach best practice.
  • Leadership or project management experience.
  • Website tracking requirements
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Knowledge of using third-party digital marketing software such as Moz, SEM Rush, AhRefs etc.
