Job Description

Senior Web Developer Location: Sheffield (S1)Salary: £27,000 - £38,000 Dependent on ExperienceThe Client:Our client is currently seeking to find a senior-level web developer for their digital marketing agency. You will be joining a very diverse and busy digital team, where every member is key member in delivering dynamic content campaigns. The idealcandidate will have a great balance of experience and skills.The Role:The candidate needs to have a senior level of front-end web development skills. This is a full-time position, and its a quite flexible role offering some work-from-home too. You must have at least 3 years + of experience in the field.Duties:

  • Working as part of a team to create, develop and maintain websites and applications
  • Bringing fresh ideas and insight to the projects
  • Building relationships with clients to ensure they get the outcomes they need
  • Having a keen eye for detail, making sure output is always of the highest quality
  • Mentoring junior developers and taking partial responsibility for their CPD
Candidates Must Have:
  • 3+ Years of experience in Web development
  • HTML5 / CSS3
  • PHP & MySQL
  • UX & UI
  • Gutenberg blocks in WordPress
  • Deploying Websites in Linux server administration and DNS
  • WordPress experience
Desired Skills:
  • HTML emails with best practise
  • Gitflow for version control
  • Object orientated development in PHP
  • cPanel/WHM
  • Sage and Bedrock roots development
  • Scripting with Capistrano
