Due to continued growth and expansion, we are currently supporting the recruitment of a business-critical role for our client and we are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Senior IT & Infrastructure Engineer to join their team.As Senior IT & Infrastructure Engineer you will have the responsibility for supporting, administering, and troubleshooting core IT systems across our UK customer base.You will also be tasked with designing and the implementation of new technologies and solutions.The role includes the management at a project level of key projects for our clients customer base. This could take the form of network deployment, removal of on-premise systems and migration to the cloud or a cloud-to-cloud migration amongst other things.The role will be flexibly home based, with requirement to sometimes work from the Sheffield head office, as well as the potential for overnight stays across the UK.You will work alongside my clients Lead to ensure the highest level of uptime, service and customer experience. Acting as an escalation point for the helpdesk (1st & 2nd line support) you will find each day varied with the opportunity to increase your knowledge (hands on or through support in job training). You will have a keen eye for detail and a wide range of experience which you can demonstrate across multi-company and larger networks.Key Responsibilities include:
