Sewell Wallis have an excellent opportunity for a high calibre, qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA Accountant to join a growing SME in a varied Senior Finance Manager position. This role would suit a motivated individual who is looking to push their career to the next step.Working directly for a switched on, ambitious Head of Finance the Senior Finance Manager will be given an exceptional opportunity to join in a leadership role where full training and support will be given. Due to an accelerated growth strategy thats in place for this business there is huge scope to develop further in the future.Duties include;- Review and finalisation of the group monthly management accounts with support from a team of management accoutants- Monthly cost centre analysis - Development of management information reporting and business partnering with operational heads - Invoicing and revenue management- Maintaining integrity of finance systems and appropriate control environment- Management of tax compliance (VAT, Corporation tax, R&D claim) and other statutory requirements- Cashflow forecasting- Day to day management of key external relationships- Ad-hoc analysis/activity as required- Assist Head of Finance with annual budget process- Assist Head of Finance with annual audit processThe person;- Holds an accounting qualification - ideally trained with a technical/controls focussed background - Strong management accounting and analysis experience- Proven track record in delivering under pressure and meeting tight deadlinesBenefits;- Offering on-site car parking, an easily accessible location not far from the M1.
