Piper Maddox are recruiting on behalf of a market leading manufacturer of high performance Electric and Hybrid vehicles. This global organisation are seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their Battery Cooling Systems team on a permanent basis.In return, you will receive highly competitive remuneration from £45,000 - £55,000 plus an extensive benefits package which includes car allowance.As Senior Design Engineer you will take responsibility for:- Delivering ESS cooling vehicle projects on time, on budget and to specification- Ensure that solutions meet the specified requirements for thermal, NVH, durability and performance- Working with other engineers and designers to achieve innovative, lightweight, durable and efficient design- Working closely with the vehicle programme team and other engineering teams- Preparing presentations for both internal and external project reviewsThe ideal candidate will be degree educated in Mechanical, Electrical or Automotive engineering. You will be able to demonstrate 5+ years design and development experience and also have direct experience in the design and implementation of cooling systems working directly for an OEM or Tier 1 Supplier.
