Are you ready to revolutionise data using cutting-edge ultrasonic data technologyAs a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in extracting meaningful insights from data to shape the future of clients projects such as energy and transport sectors. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your expertisein machine learning and data analysis to develop and implement advanced solutions that optimise operations, enhance safety, and reduce environmental impact.Key Responsibilities:* Lead the design, development, and deployment of machine learning models and algorithms using ultrasonic data to solve complex challenges in energy and transport.* Collaborate with the MLOps team to automate data pipelines, ensuring seamless integration of models into real-time applications.* Mentor and guide junior data scientists, providing technical expertise, fostering skill development, and promoting a collaborative learning environment.* Collaborate with the Head of Data Science to set strategic goals, identify opportunities for innovation, and contribute to the companys data-driven roadmap.* Conduct in-depth data analysis, generating actionable insights and recommendations that drive informed business decisions.* Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and ultrasonic technology, applying this knowledge to enhance our solutions.Requirements:* Masters or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.* Proven experience (5+ years) in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Julia, and experience with relevant libraries and frameworks.* Strong background in MLOps, including experience in deploying and managing machine learning models in production environments.* Demonstrated expertise in ultrasonic data analysis and its applications in the energy and/or transport sectors.* Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.* Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.* Prior experience in mentoring or leading junior team members is a plus.This role works on a hybrid basis, 3 days in the office a week in Sheffield.
