Job Description

Location: SheffieldContract: PermanentHours: Full time 37.5 hours per week/flexible days and/or hours (Mon-Fri)Salary: Between £35,500 - £42,750 depending on experience Benefits package:

THE ROLEThe Senior Application Support Engineer will be an instrumental part of our IT Team and delivering quality IT services to our teams, customers and external partners. You will also be responsible for 2nd and 3rd line support; analysis and design of changes,coordination of technical changes, implementing application configurations, verification of fixes/changes, building reports and coordinating application releases into production for the Enterprise Applications.The role will principally involve working with business teams, 3rd party IT delivery partners and IT teams to support and manage the Enterprise Applications.Your main duties will include:-
  • Application Support for Incidents and Service Requests
  • Configuration and Administration Support for SaaS applications
  • Coordination of Technical Change
  • Application Release Coordination
  • Application Continuous Improvement and Problem Management
To be considered for this role must have Proven experience in configuring 2nd line support for SaaS applications along with excellent written and verbal communication as well as the ability to communicate technical issues to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.You will also have proven experience dealing with incident management, problem management and service request management as well as experience dealing with the administration; analysis, design, troubleshooting, configuration, and implementation of changesinvolving COTS Products and SaaS applications.You will possess strong analytical and problem management skills, enabling quick assessment of complex issues within solution involving cloud and on-premise hosting as well as being adept at working under pressure to deliver to tight deadlines, whilst retainingexcellent attention to detail.Good experience of using Software Development Lifecycle and Jira Ticket Management tools are essential and good technical knowledge of Integration Technologies, CRM, Cloud concepts would also be highly desirable.For the full job description please visit the British Business Bank Careers pageABOUT US The British Business Bank is a unique and exciting institution.
