Job Description

  • Full time role
  • Working 121 with a child with Down syndrome within an outstanding mainstream primary school
  • Start Easter until the summer.
    • Tradewind are working with this Sheffield primary school seeking a teaching assistant to work on a one to one basis with a child in Year 4 with Down syndrome. The student in mainly non verbal and communicates using PECs and Makaton so prior experience using this would be beneficial. A Team Teach qualification or equivalent behaviour management qualification would also be useful.The role is full time to start after Easter until the summer. The school is an Ofsted rated outstanding primary school with excellent provision for children with additional needs.
