Job Description

Semi Senior/Digital Accountant, SheffieldThe RoleOur client is an award-winning regional accountancy firm, that provides a full range of accounting solutions to a highly diverse client portfolio.The business is looking to invest in an experienced accountant to join their accounting team, who specialises in working with SME clients, providing management information, training on accounting software systems and offering overall accounting solutionsfor their businesses, utilising the very latest technology.Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe role of Semi Senior/Digital Accountant will provide support to a wide range of clients, duties will include:

  • The preparation of Management Accounts
  • Support client on ad-hoc projects (implementation of systems, procedures etc)
  • Preparation of Company Statutory Accounts
  • Support clients on a variety of accounting software, including cloud accounting products
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Preparation of Personal and Corporate Tax computations
Skills and QualitiesThe successful applicant must have developed a minimum of 3 years experience working within a regional firm of accountants, ideally with working knowledge of cloud accounting software products. Individuals will also be qualified AAT or part qualified ACCAor ACCA, applications from individuals who have developed suitable experience but have decided not to pursue formal studies are also encouraged.Salary/Benefits
