Job Description

Managing SchedulerAre you looking to work within an ambitious organisation Do you enjoy planning, scheduling and managing a teamWe have an excellent opportunity working for a well-established, ambitious and growing organisation within the Commercial Property Maintenance sector.Our client are looking to recruit a Managing Scheduler, on a permanent basis based from their office in Sheffield. You will be responsible for leading a team of schedulers in the administration and management of reactive and planned maintenance within fabric,mechanical and electrical works.You will:

  • Understand client service level agreements including budgets and rates.
  • Plan/co-ordinate/allocate engineer workload.
  • Ensure allocations match engineer skills and experience.
  • Liaise with client sites and record access arrangements.
  • Plan & administrate joint visits with other specialist contractors.
  • Providing real time approval of engineer timesheets.
  • Co-ordinate full cycle of works to ensure the smooth transition to invoicing.
  • Request budget uplifts.
  • Escalate work-in-progress/engineer issues to Managers when required.
  • PDA support and client logging in/out requirements).
  • Provide work-in-progress updates to internal and external customers.
  • Manage engineer holidays to ensure adequate cover at all times.
  • Assist in managing the engineer OOH (out of hours) call out rota.
  • Participate on the out of hours call out rota.
  • Lead a team of schedulers, whilst overseeing more complex tasks such as new customer mobilisations and on boarding new engineers.
  • Undertake basic HR responsibilities (e.g., appraisals, back-to-work, disciplinarys)
  • Play a lead role in representing the company in client facing meetings.
  • Undertake complex reporting and utilise data from both internal and external systems.
You will need:
  • Great communication and organisational skills.
  • Good administration experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to deal with multiple tasks at one time.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Proven experience of managing a team.
  • Advanced level of commercial and financial acumen.
In return:
  • Permanent Contract
  • Mon to Fri, 40hours (Flexible between 7am -5pm)
