Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are supporting a leading Manufacturing business based in Sheffield, in the search for a Sales Coordinator. The successful Sales Coordinator will play a pivotal role in providing senior administrative support to a fast paced, busy sales team. If you are a proactive individual with a passion for sales and customer service, this is an excellent opportunity for you. Key Responsibilities of a Sales Coordinator:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for sales enquiries, providing timely and accurate information to customers
  • Coordinate sales orders from receipt to fulfilment, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process
  • Follow up on all customer quotes over a certain threshold
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and maintain sales forecasts, track progress against targets, and identify areas for improvement
  • Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and contracts, adhering to company standards and procedures
  • Generate sales reports and analytics to provide insights into sales performance and trends
  • Support the development and implementation of sales strategies and promotional campaigns
  • Liaise with internal departments, including production, logistics, and finance, to ensure smooth execution of sales transactions
  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries, striving to resolve issues promptly and satisfactorily
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing, and market trends to effectively support the sales team
Key Skills of a Sales Coordinator:
  • Proven experience in a sales support or coordination role, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer-focused approach
