Job Description

Sales and Estimating ManagerLocation: Sheffield Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Elevation Recruitment Group are excited to be recruiting for a leading Sheffield based manufacturing company who are extremely well established and leaders in their field. The role is focused on commercial building products and will involve growing relationshipswith building consultants, architects and main contractors, to name a few. This role, reporting into the Managing Director requires a driven, experienced sales person who thrives on motivating a team and consistently identifying new opportunities for growth. This role will pay a pivotal part in the companies continuous desire forexpansion and continual market leadership.Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the estimating team, providing guidance, coaching, and training to foster a culture of high performance and collaboration.
  • Utilise in house tools for new business generation, and implement marketing strategies to prospect for new opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen by negotiating the best margins and contract conditions, including retentions, liquidated damages, and payment terms.
  • Track and maintain regular contact with clients using CRM systems and marketing strategies, ensuring a consistent presence throughout the project lifecycle, which can span multiple years from initial design to project completion.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in estimating and project management within the construction industry, with additional experience in a similar selling environment such as commercial office fitout.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Attention to detail and initiative to drive results
