Job Description

Berkeley Scott are recruiting talented Retail Assistants to work in and around SheffieldThis is a very exciting opportunity for the right Retail Assistant where you will have the opportunity to work with one of the nations biggest supermarket chains.We are looking for both Shelf Stackers and On Line Order AssistantsPrevious experience is not required but fantastic customer service is a must for our successful Retail Assistants.Benefits include:

  • Above minimum wage, and an hourly increase for night shifts
  • Full time, flexible hours over the festive season and beyond
  • Weekly Pay
  • Paid online Induction Training
    • The shelf stacker roles will involve:
  • Replenishing shelves within the main supermarket area
  • Assisting customers with questions within the supermarket area as required
  • Obtaining stock from the store room and distributing around the store
  • This role is physically demanding as you will be lifting, pushing and pulling stock around the store
    • The online order assistant roles will involve:
  • Obtaining customer orders from the administration team
  • Obtaining the products within the order (or suitable alternative products) and packing into trolleys ready for home delivery
  • Assisting customers with questions within the supermarket area as required
    • Ideal Candidates will take pride in their work and will have the following:
  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but NOT essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes challenging environment
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Good team player as well as ability to work on own initiative
