Resource Lead - UK remote based (inc. access to offices in Sheffield, Bristol, Nottingham, Lancaster, Hessle, Norwich)£40,000 to £50,000 Per Annum + excellent benefits including PMI, Healthcare cash plan, 25 days (+ bank) holidays inc. buy&sell optionDue to continued and steady growth, Our client, the SaaS EdTech global leaders, are looking for a Resource Lead to manage the allocation of their Professional Services resources to ensure both customer projects and ad-hoc requests are resourced efficientlyand effectively.Working across all technology products for their Higher Education customers covering all regions across EMEA, the Resource Lead will be required to make resource management and consultant scheduling decisions ensuring the Professional Services team are resourcedadequately based on skillset and availability.Collaborating with many other departments across the business, the Resource Lead will also need to manage high level operational challenges ensuring there is a holistic approach to all resource requests based upon capacity and priority.The roleResource planning of ad hoc and project engagements, liaising with Project Managers, Performance Managers on customer projects to identify and allocate both immediate and long-term resourcing requests.Continuous improvement across business initiatives for various business systems which facilitate the requests and assignment of consultants, such as service catalogues, online booking request forms, consultancy request tickets and shared mailboxes.Monitor customer satisfaction, review sales opportunities and identify resourcing challenges and propose solutions.Assist colleagues with queries relating to the Professional Services Automation (PSA) system such as project codes, timesheets and expenses.Support with the organisation of Professional Services training events both hosted at customer offices as well as delivered online; training to colleagues from time-time might also be required.The personPrevious experience in a resource management role and/or knowledge of PSA systemsPractical knowledge of SaaS implementation in the professional services and customers lifecycle with an understanding of technology productsGood project management and event organisation experience with strong prioritisation skillsExcellent verbal and written communications skills; the latter especially with regards to presenting complex and in-depth information to both internal and external customersSolution focussed, problem solver, committed to finding ways to continuously improve their working experiencesWhy themThis is an unrivalled opportunity to join an experienced, globally dispersed professional services team.
