Remote Senior PHP Developer - Get into Project / Team LeadershipAre you a PHP Developer looking for a remote position that would move into a leadership role in the coming months / years Would you like to build amazing technology products and applications for start ups /scaleups, established players and big corporate clients Are you interested in building teams, mentoring others and mixing hands on development with a more strategic and varied leadership / commercial roleThis organisation is open to building a fully remote workforce and keen to hire a new ‘future leader’ that would become a Head of Web in years to come, someone who has strong full stack development skills in PHP / LAMP stack but also open to working with other technologies including but not limited to, Vue.JS with Typescript / NuxtJS, Firebase / Firestore for DB, GraphQL.Reporting directly into the MD, you will work closely with the Head of UX to deliver projects by providing hands on coding expertise. Working in Nottingham or Remotely, or a combination of the two we are looking for a Dev to make a gradual transition into team leadership by growing a team, building out the right methodologies and working practices and of course ensuring the tech stack and overarching architecture is capable of delivering innovative web applications for high profile clients across the worldOf course as Senior Developer / Head of Web you will be responsible for making recommendations to ensure the tech stack is fit for purpose and constantly evolving. All your ideas and innovations will help to build a digital/commercial roadmap for the business, which could also see you become Head of Dev and even Development Director of this organisation in the future.You will have team leading responsibilities from day one, and based on demand, it is already clear to see that you will need to help the MD to hire additional Development resources. This may involve the use of freelancers / contractors as well as hiring key permanent members of your team. Already an Agile/Scrum environment, you will lead by example and help to ensure that all development activities are well managed and that the culture of the team is positive and productive.Our ideal candidate will have many years of Web Development experience, be a well respected Developer and someone who enjoys mentoring and supporting others.
