Job Description

We have an opportunity for a permanent Recycling Supervisor in Sheffield to join a company who specialise in the recycling of waste products.As a Recycling Supervisor you will also be using forklift and 360 digger.Key responsibilities will include:

  • To supervise a small team to ensure all production line operations are undertaken efficiently and effectively at all times.
  • Responsible for ensuring the production line is kept clean and tidy in line with company standards
  • To identify any faults or maintenance issues immediately to management.
  • To undertake any allocated jobs as directed by the Manager ensuring that all associated paperwork is
  • To communicate effectively with all levels of staff from Operatives to high management and to report daily to the site manager Required to attend training programmes as necessary to meet contract requirements and for self-development purposes.
  • To comply with Company Policies and in line with health and safety operating procedures.
    • Key Skills:
  • WAMITAB is preferred
  • Scrap Metal experience is preferred
  • Previous Supervisor experience essential in a similar environment.
  • Experience of working in recycling plant would be an advantage
