Job Description

Staff365 are looking to recruit a Recycling Operative for our client who is the UK market leader for the processing and sale of IBAA (Incinerator Bottom Ash Aggregate) offering the Construction and Civil Engineering sector a Sustainable alternative to NaturalAggregates.IBA (Incinerator Bottom Ash) is the by-product from Energy from Waste, these are power stations that generate electricity from the combustion of MSW (Household waste) and are a Sustainable alternative to Landfilling.Working as part of a team processing IBA to aid in the recovery of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous metals through the operation of a static plant.

  • The role: Recycling Operative
  • Location: Hillsborough, Sheffield S6 (Please note, due to the location ideally you will need your own transport or leave locally)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm with breaks paid and every other Saturday at overtime rate
  • Rate of pay: £9.50 per hour for the first 40 and £14.25 after 40 - you work 10 hours per day so 8 hours paid at £9.50 and 2 hours paid at £14.25 (average per hour £10.45)

  • routine maintenance
  • ensuring safety is paramount & reporting any defects
