Elevation Recruitment Group are currently exclusively partnered with a highly regulated manufacturer who are seeking a Quality Technician to join their operation in Sheffield.Reporting into the Quality Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a Quality Technician who has some proven experience in quality or a graduate with knowledge of quality systems/problem solving tools to take the next step in their career.The Quality Manager has a fantastic record of people development and this role will support the team in the creation and amendment of procedures around the business.Duties & Responsibilities include: Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in maintaining the QMS and compliance to customer driven QMS Lead the collection of data for internal and external NCRs Support Managers across the business in undertaking a comprehensive review of Work Instructions within each area of the business Support Departmental Managers with the updating of existing Work Instructions and documenting them into the company standardised format Carry out System and Process Audits within the business to monitor compliance with defined practices and procedures Support with the internal and external audit schedule Input and maintain data within the companys electronic management software ensuring the business management system is kept up to date Generate, review and control Documentation and Procedures associated with the maintenance of the IMS Control the calibration of all inspection and measuring equipment and ensure the maintenance of the calibration system Control the list of approved suppliers that are used by the company Ensure all applicable documentation is readily available at all workstations and areas Work with HR to ensure that all Quality training records are up to date and available Drive a culture of continual improvement within the business Non-conformance & CAPA reports and verifications Root cause analysis for scrap & External escapes Ownership and support of Continuous improvement projectsIm keen to speak to individuals with the following skillset: Experience as a Quality Technician in a manufacturing environment or graduate with some industry experience Knowledge of problem-solving tools Attention to detail and strong communication skillsFor more information, please contact Jemma Aylesbury on
