Do you want full autonomy for all site quality matters at our Manchester based manufacturing facility Due to retirement, were seeking an experienced ISO:9001 / IATF 16949 Quality Manager to lead, mentor and drive quality forwards. Were part of a Globalgroup and were still expanding. You can grow further with us.BASIC SALARY: £50,000-£60,000 dependant on your relevant experienceBENEFITS: Bonus - 10% Generous Car Allowance Private Medical PensionLOCATION: ManchesterCOMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: Sheffield, Liverpool, Huddersfield, Warrington, Stockport, Macclesfield, Buxton, Halifax, Oldham, Rochdale, BoltonThis Quality Manager role will appeal to you if you: Proactively drive and champion all aspects of a quality function Are data driven and can use analytical information to make solid commercial decisions Are practical in challenging the norm and championing new processes and proceduresJOB DESCRIPTION: Quality Manager - manufacturing - ISO:9001Due to pending retirement, were looking for an experienced ISO9001 / IATF 16949 Quality Manager from a process driven manufacturing environment, to take full autonomy for all site quality functions.Are you that Quality ManagerYoull lead a small, competent team of quality professionals in QA, SQA and the QC / Laboratory.Youll manage a substantial budget, run our QMS, handle internal and external auditing, supplier quality, NCRs and product and process verification and validation and more.This is a really important role for us. Having been bought out in 2021, there will naturally be changes to systems and processes whilst we become more centralised. Youll help to ease that transition with your calm approach to change management.This position would suit an experienced quality manager who wants a hands-on roll, leads by example, and wants full autonomy for all site quality functions.We need you to continue the good work done by our retiring Quality Manager; whos driven forward customer outstanding NCRs, put in place effective 8Ds, delivered major cost savings and helped to reduced site wastage.We will give you the perfect platform to develop your career in quality.Your other Quality Manager responsibilities could include: Develop, implement, and maintain a plan to insure our QMS and Policies are compliant with requirements 3rd Party Registrations, execution of Management Reviews, Internal Systems Auditing, APQP-PPAP requirements Root Cause and Corrective/Preventive Action Investigations for the Site Interact with Procurement, Production, Engineering and R&D to maintain product supply and help to introduce new products Manage and coordinate validation protocols Ensure compliance with National and International Standards and LegislationYour Background: Quality Manager - manufacturing - ISO:9001You must have a solid background in quality management experience within a relevant process driven ISO:9001 manufacturing environment.You will be: Competent with maintaining & developing a site QMS Experienced with various quality problem solving methodologies and techniques such as 8D, SPC, APQP, PPAP Have the proven ability to lead and manage a team of site quality professionals (QA/QC/SQA) Competent with stakeholder management across the whole operation and maybe the wider groupExperience of IATF 16949 would be advantageous - but we will would consider you without it!THE COMPANY:We are Global manufacturer with multiple sites (nearly 100) across the UK and the World and employ circa 5000 people.
