Role: Quality InspectorLocation: SheffieldSalary: £23,920.00-£24,960.00 per yearShift: Monday to Thursday 7:00am - 3:30pmFriday 7:00am - 2.30pmJob Type: PermanentThe role:Inspection and Quality control, the role will include:· Responsible for quality and inspection of goods and reporting / liaising with the production managers / team with quality issues. Proven track record of quality and inspection required and knowledge of various precise measuring equipment (vernier, micrometreetc).· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings· Good numerical and mechanical knowledge· Attention to detail· Complying with standards of safety, company policy, accreditation e.g. ISO and legal regulations that may apply to the product.Other responsibilities of a quality Inspector:· Support to goods inwards including organising any raw material deliveries and goods inward inspection.· Helping the production manager to organise the work benches when material has been issued· Support to health and safety officer· Any other organisation that the factory requires to improve efficiency and quality of output.ESSENTIAL Quality Inspector Skills:Engineering background would be preferable.Quick learner, ability to work under pressure at month end and team player.Forklift truck license optional (but training could be provided).Clean, full UK driving license required.Benefits:Overtime at time and a half - up to two hours a day available per dayHoliday 21 days plus bank holidaysPension scheme subject to eligibilityOn-site parking
