An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join a company that manufacturers for the Nuclear, Space and Aerospace industries. The role will require you to over see the Defect process and assist the Quality Manager in their dayto day tasks. The role will also require you to assist in the generation and control of the companys Quality Process with a primary goal of achieving continuous improvement and striving for Zero Defects.Job Description Control the QCN Process to ensure the Quality Assistance maintain the QCN process and reduce the company non conformance. MSA -Responsible for Generation, review and amendments of the companies MSA studies Responsible for Generation, Review and amendments of Inspection Plan and MCD documents. Responsible for Generation, Review and amendments of SPC studies Review of the company and Customer Drawing. Approval of company internal Drawing Review of customer specification and generation of the companys internal process based on customer specifications Control and generation of concession and deviation permit Review and sanctioning of the companys supplier concession Liaising with supplier on quality issues and queries Liaise with suppliers regarding QCNs generated against them to ensure they are closed in a timely manner. This will include working with the purchasing department. Control, of the GRN process, updating and amending GRNs, dealing with queries from Inspection and Stores. Liaise with suppliers regarding QCNs generated against them to ensure they are closed in a timely manner. This will include working with the purchasing department. Supplier Audits to Check list Route Card Review and approval of the companys internal routing including planning amendments FAIR generation on NET Inspect. APQP and PPAP -to AS13100 and Sabre 4 requirements Generation, Participation in CWF APQP and PPAP process including MCD ,PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, etc. Route Cause and Corrective Action Carry out 8d process Control the QCN Process to ensure the Quality Assistance maintain the QCN process and reduce the company non conformance. Control of customer return including root cause, corrective action ,8d etc Participation in Customer. Nadcap and Controlling Bodies audit Assist in the day to day Quality requirements of the company Ensure quality standards are met for customers by following customer specifications and reporting non-conformances to the Quality Assurance Manager. Ensure all actions, are linked to the drive for continuous improvement and the striving for zero defects. To carry out additional tasks under the guidance and direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, where requiredBeneficial Skills, Experience & Qualification 3-years Quality Assurance experience. Proficient in English writing and verbal skills. PAPAP & APQP experience Auditing External and Internal MSA & SPC AS9100 experience NADCAP Degree Previous experience in an engineering industry. Previous experience in an Aerospace industry.
