Job Description

Quality Admin Permanent Position£20,280 + Excellent Benefits Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00 & Friday 07:00-12:00 Full Training ProvidedBased in SheffieldOur client is a family run manufacturing business that provide components to a variety of industries and are looking for a Quality Admin to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will have strong administration and customer service experience ideally from an engineering, manufacturing or logistics environment.Quality Admin Job Description

  • Assisting Quality Engineers with data entry for weekly containment and scrap reports.
  • Searching and retrieving material certificates on request
  • Updating the electronic register and managing production gauges
  • Manage the completion of job packs to the production plan and at production request in addition to collecting in completed packs, reviewing and filing paperwork and updating on the electronic register.
  • General data entry and project work to assist the quality team.
  • Making new engineering drawings available to engineers for processing on the engineering modification request database.
  • Communicating with both internal and external customers when needed.
  • Liaising with a variety of departments for the gauge/fixture design
Quality Admin Essential Skills/Experience/Qualification Required
  • Strong Administration experience
  • Excellent attention to detail when reviewing documentation
  • Confident using Microsoft office
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Confident analysing information and utilising results from this
Quality Admin Desirable Skills/Experience/Qualification
  • Experience working in an Engineering, Manufacturing or Logistics environment.
  • Previous experience within a quality department
