Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are proud to be recruiting a QA Certification Engineer to join an engineering company based in Sheffield.Our client are specialist design and manufacturer of highly regulated engineered products which supply the Defence, Marine, Aerospace, Industrial and Oil & Gas market sectors.Reporting to the Quality Manager, this QA Certification Engineer role will undertake effective planning, preparation and delivery of all technical documentation and implement improvements to document processing, control and record keeping.Other responsibilities of the QA Certification Engineer include:

  • Managing and maintaining the Document and Certification process within the department
  • Ensuring data packs for customer contracts are accurate and completed within the timeframe specified
  • Develop and maintain an effective document management system that is embedded within company procedures and understood by all users
  • Agree Document & Certification pack contents in direct consultation with customers or with the contracts, engineering and sales teams
  • Ensure the correct level of certification content, timeframe and resources are planned
  • Generate Document & Certification packs in line with the agreed specification and timeframe.
  • Make sure that all generated ITPs, Quality Plans, MITPs are correct before specified operations start
  • Ensure that all Document & Certification packs are correctly archived and can be readily accessed
  • Confirm certification for bought-in products and services conforms with contract specification requirements
  • Liaise with Third Party Inspectors and Customers Representatives on site
  • Record and track customer concessions within the document management system
  • Provide regular KPI data to demonstrate departmental performance
