Job Description

Project Manager - Required for my client for their established team based out of their office in Sheffield. The Project Manager with have a strong rail background. The Project Manager will work on Network Rail and rail related infrastructurecontracts to the required performance expectations. The Project Manager must have a valid PTS, and experience in the management of high-volume work banks of framework contracts - Reactive/Projects.Project Manager Position Remuneration

  • Project Manager: up to - £55k

Project Manager Position Overview
  • Liaise with Framework managers to ensure weekly reports reviewed and submitted, and reported to the Senior/ Project Managers if necessary.
  • Confirm programmes are present for all works over £30,000, holding a weekly review with the delivery manager to ensure the programme is up to date each week.
  • Review completed Site audits from all providers and provide narrative on content to Senior/ Project Managers, enabling them to make continuous improvements.
  • Provide narrative actions arising from Client Progress meetings and tracking them to ensure actions are completed to deadlines.
  • Develop a full understanding of the department KPIs and report on any trends and missed targets, providing weekly information to the Senior/ Project Manager.
Project Manager Position Requirements
  • Valid PTS
  • Understanding of Buildings and Civil works in a Railway environment
  • Level 4 or above Academic Qualifications or proven industry experience
  • Experience in the management of high-volume work banks on Framework contracts - Reactive/ Projects
  • APM Foundation (PFQ) or APM Project Management Qualification (PMQ)
  • Commercial awareness, with the ability to develop knowledge and understanding of the industry
  • Full understanding of on-site NR Safety Critical / Managing Safely
  • Understanding of the Design process
  • Strong, demonstrable reporting and programming experience
