In the day-to-day role, you will be supporting clients with a range of systems. Lets talk through some of the key parts of the role.Task management - quotingTaking requirements from a client and making sure they are understood, before we discuss the requirements and gather a quote to get the work done. You would then liaise with the client for approval.Task management - getting the work doneWhen the quotes are approved, you would schedule the work in. We have many tools to help keep organised, such as Jira and people scheduling tools. You would work with others in the project management team to make sure we have the right people available to dothe job. Liaise with the developer(s) doing the work, ensuring everyone understands the work. You might do this by explaining it yourself, or getting the support of a senior developer. Whatever is needed. In the meantime, we need to keep the client aware of progress and when things might be ready for them to test.When the job is done, you may be required to help check that the task is as expected, before passing back to the client for their acceptance testing.Other workIn addition to getting this work planned, done, tested and live with the client systems, you will also be a key contact for our client stakeholders. Helping them with operating their systems and training their team members on system functions.OverallAs you can see from this brief explanation, the role is varied and interesting.
