Full Time, Contract and PermanentBased Sheffield, South YorkshireCompetitive Salary + BenefitsWith every engineering project, theres a new and exciting challenge, as a Project Manager, youll work alongside our diverse and talented team to develop detailed project plans, ensure resource availability, and allocate and deliver every project on time,within budget and scope.Why SCX Our talented team has been at the forefront of the most ambitious and challenging design and engineering solutions. We design, build, commission and maintain bespoke mechanical, electrical and hydraulic engineered solutions to solve complex lifting and movingchallenges for structures, materials, and people.Our global reputation is built on the back of many iconic projects, here are just some of them.Kinetic architecture:

  • Retractable roofs for Wimbledon Centre Court and No.1 Court
  • The worlds first dividing and retractable pitch at Tottenham Hotspur
  • Stadia Projects in Japan, Hong Kong, and Europe
  • Infrastructure projects, including moveable bridges, flood defences and rail
Nuclear & Defence:
  • Nuclear energy at Sellafield, Magnox, Dounreay, EDF and Urenco
  • Defence nuclear submarines with Babcock, BAE, and Rolls Royce
  • Defence surface vessels including the Queen Elizabeth Class carriers and other Royal Navy vessels
What Youll be doing
  • Provide leadership, direction and management of all assigned projects to ensure the achievement of project success factors.
  • Communicate project deliverables - Programme/costs/constraints/risk across the team.
  • Communicate, liaise and manage our clients expectations throughout projects.
  • Manage and deliver the project within client and SCX budgets.
  • Risk management of projects from concept through to completion.
  • Monitor and report performance against programme, quality and commercial targets.
What were looking forTo be successful in the role you will have a high level of project management experience and can communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. You will also be able to demonstrate:
  • Experience of project management in the engineering/construction sector
  • Strong client-facing and customer-service skills
  • Ability to lead a delivery team in a positive and confident manner
  • Strong risk and commercial awareness
