To ensure that MCTC understand and correctly apply MAL Project guidelines and standardsTo work with the MCTC Principal Engineer (Composites technology) to ensure that all project outputs are delivered to the required quality and on timeTo liase with the MCTC Business Development Manager on project management policies and the development of Project skills within MCTCPrincipal AccountabilitiesResponsible for Project co-ordination between MCTC and outside bodies, incuding MTC and MPC.Responsible for ensuring that key engineering deliverables are delivered on time into each projectTo take responsibility as the main point of contact at MCTC for "customer contacts" relating to their own individual projects.To act as on site contact and source of project process information to the MCTC team. To continuously drive the improvement and development of those skills within the teamKnowledge, Skills and ExperienceSubstantial previous experience of successfully delivering multiple complex projects simultaneously within a highly engineered environment (automotive, aerospace, or similar)Able to interpret and understand engineering drawings and specifications. CATIA file reviewing skills are an advantageMust demonstrate the ability to influence people that are not direct reports. In order to obtain inputs into the various projects from the specialist teams at MCTC, the requirements will need to be clearly defined and the delivery then closely managed.Personal AttributesAn effective communicator with proven "people skills"Enthusiastic for their subject and for the work being carried out at McLaren AutomotiveFlexible in approachConfident to address and brief both internal and external contacts at all seniority levels.
