Role overview:Working within Tes Institute who are the teacher and development arm of Tes Global, the worlds largest network of teachers. From subject knowledge enhancement training, through initial teacher training and on-going professional development, Tes Institute aims to help schools get the best from their staff, and teachers to feel confident and competent. Our unique blended model of delivery combines the expertise of over 500 highly experienced tutors with over 450 sessions of online learning, and award-winning digital tools to provide outstanding learning with the flexibility to allow learners to fit their learning around busy lives.We have a high volume of learners across a range of accredited teacher training programmes that we both manage and support form application through to completion. In the last academic year we have supported over 800 trainees through QTS alone.The Programme & Admissions Manager plays a vital and critical role within the Programme team, effectively managing the trainees journey but also providing exceptional support in monitoring and maintaining quality assurance and operational delivery across all TES programmes. Key role responsibilities:• Monitor the processing of incoming trainee application details in Salesforce indemnifying key areas of action. Conducting regular reports and detailed reviews to ensure Programme & Admission Officers are meeting targets, and data is consistent and accurate at all times.• Support the Director of Operations with operational improvement, driving automation, digital solutions and efficiency initiatives. Manage and lead the Programme & Admission Officers - ensuring they are trained to support Tes Institute programmes, including; compliance, entry criteria, and all relevant systems. Tracking the teams progress, monitoring data integrity, managing workloads and anticipating when additional support is required. Manage the Senior Compliance Officer to ensure quality control checks of compliance are completed. Supporting routine audit checks and inspections. Support the Senior Compliance Officer with Tutor recruitment and on-boarding where necessary. Identify any training needs for the team and individuals. To manage the Programmes and Admissions team in relation to holidays, completing regular performance management meetings, providing feedback on individual performance and identifying areas of development. Ensure KPIs and measure of success are understood and delivered in a culture of operational excellence and efficiency Provide the Senior Management and Programme Directors regular reports on enrolments and then status of trainee files, as necessary. Presenting admission numbers to the team.Education and experience requirements:Supervisory and team management experience Communicates clearly and confidently both verbally and in writing Educated to a Degree level. Experience working in education. Strong attention to detail particularly with regards to data entry Experience with Salesforce desirable. Experience with Virtual Learning Environments (eg Moodle) desirable. Knowledge and experience of Teachers Standards and Ofsted regulations desirable. Outstanding customer service skills, matched with strong verbal and written communication skills, including an excellent phone manner. Ability to perform outgoing calls and email follow-ups in a professional, positive and prompt manner. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously, maintaining composure in a fast-paced, high-energy, target and deadline-oriented environment. Ability to treat concerns of trainees and other stakeholders (eg Pathway Tutors, Schools) with respect and confidentiality. Ability to work independently, demonstrating a ‘can-do attitude with exceptional time management, organization, and judgment. Proficiency in MS Office and other online applications (eg Access, Salesforce), especially data filtering & pivot table functions in Excel.
