I am currently partnered exclusively with a Global Manufacturing business based in Sheffield who are looking for a Production Manager to drive and deliver innovation into the business and take them to the next level. My client is currently the market leader in their discipline and have recently entered an exciting period of growth so are now looking for an experienced production manager to take the business to the next level. The successful candidate would be responsible for 3 different business units within the company with a headcount of circa 100 people. Reporting directly into the Plant Director the successful candidate must have strong people skills but have the ability to think analytically and interpret the data in order to get maximum results.Roles & Responsibilities:- Ensure the companys quality policy is understood and implemented- Ensure all Health & Safety rules are adhered to, be aware of fire exits and hazards in departments and maintain a safe environment- Maintain a clean working environment- Identify areas for cost reduction and productivity improvements- Monitor and review subordinates for performance, training and future development- Recommend new work methods, layouts, processes and equipment to improve performance- Maintain good timekeeping and attendance- Manage the department budget- Teamwork - show a positive attitude to work and others- Display flexible attitude to work time as required- Recognise and react to customer expectationsRequired Skills:- Degree qualified - Strong analytical skills with proven results- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to get the best out of the team- Continuous Improvement qualifications (black belt six sigma) or proven track records of success- Ability to work several projects simultaneouslyIf you feel you meet the above criteria please apply directly on the advert, alternatively please reach out directly to Jordan Shutt on .
