Job Description

Our client is a global leading provider and manufacturer of healthcare solutions. Due to continued success, they are rapidly expanding which presents a fantastic opportunity for a talented Production Manager with experience of indirectly managing large teamsto lead their Aseptic Production Department.The team size is substantial and is entering a period of further growthThis company offers a brilliant opportunity for personal development.   • To create and implement plans to achieve all manufacturing targets over 12 - 18 month time frame. Developing plans for the Unit to enable future commercial growth and to align with strategy on new product and market segment opportunities.
  • Create clear goals and targets for the production team, holding accountability against these goals and targets.
  • Train production staff are appropriately in order to perform the tasks required of them, conducting regular competency checks. Also ensure the training programme is developed and updated
  • Identify recruitment requirements to ensure the appropriate skills mix will deliver the forecasted production.
  • Complete regulatory inspections and internal audits within the production department.
  • Make sure production staff performance is reviewed and objectives are assigned to develop staff in line with the company strategy and values.
  • Investigate any deviations or errors and make sure corrective measures are implemented
  • Support the continuous improvement programme providing resources for projects, analysing waste to minimise production costs.
About You:
  • Minimum of 3 years in a Senior Management position in a highly regulated GMP manufacturing environment.
  • GCSE in Maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Educated to Degree level and/or BTEC or equivalent in Pharmacy Services
  • Experience of working in aseptic manufacturing is an advantage
  • Proven track record of leadership and management of a large multifunctional team.
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office packages.
