Elevation Engineering & Manufacturings team have been exclusively retained to manage a recruitment campaign for our prestigious client based Sheffield.The client is a worldwide leader in design and manufacturing for the orthopedic and medical device markets, including joint reconstruction, spine, trauma, sports medicine, extremities and dental. With 14 world-class facilities located around the globe, theycontinue to provide others an opportunity to live a better life through the products, services and the way the company conducts business.Their Sheffield facility based off the Sheffield Parkway comprises a Forge, Foundry and CNC Machining and Finishing processes. It employs approximately 230 people and focuses on joint reconstruction, in particular knee and hip joints and also the instrumentsrequired to fit the medical device partsThey are looking for individuals with experience or a desire to work in the following role:Production Machine OperatorHours: 37.5 hours per weekWorking Hours: Monday to Friday 3 shift pattern (6-2,2-10,10-6)Hourly Rate: £10.76 p/h + 17% Shift Allowance = £12.59 p/hOvertime: Paid at time andafter 37.5 hoursReporting to the Wax Team Leader you will be responsible for:* Setting up and operating wax injection moulding machines* Selecting the correct tooling for the job and setting up on the machine* Adjusting temperatures on the machine* General housekeeping, keeping the machine and workstations clean and tidyExperience:* Candidates from a machine operating background are desirable but this is not essential* Manufacturing experience* Positive attitude* Flexible approach to working hoursIf you want to discuss the positions in more detail, please contact Nicola Jackson at Elevation Recruitment Group.
