I am now recruiting for a large manufacturing business located in Sheffield who are now looking to recruit a Production Engineer to undertake CNC manufacturing improvements. This role will include programme developments that will have a direct technical, economic and reputational benefit to the business.Client DetailsThe successful candidate will support manufacturing activities including the development of new methods and processes, process validation and generation of research outputs. The Production Engineer will work collaboratively with technology providers, national technology centres, academia and industry to deliver key projects focused on CNC manufacturing activities with particular emphasis on the machining of titanium or other hard metals.The role will also include the development and implementation of Multi-axis CNC Technology including Milling, Mill/Turn & PKM Machining and development and implementation of CNC related CAM Technology.DescriptionReporting into the Plant Manager, based in Sheffield as the Production Engineer you will ;
