From remote controls, mobile phones to cooking (microwave) and even medical devices, radiation has an abundance of uses, some are good, others can beharmful and need to be detected quickly.Our client is an industry leader in the radiation detection sector. With clients around the UK and abroad, they provide state-of-the-art equipment with specialist software to run and manage it. They are currently searching for a Product Support Specialistto join their team.You will be the first point of contact for existing customers who have technical questions about their equipment. Customers contact our client via phone call, email and an online "ticket" system. You will also provide training sessions to new and existingcustomers who purchase the latest equipment, ensuring they have fully customized their software to suit their needs. Customer support can take the shape of on-site, video calls or remote assistance, depending on the circumstances.This role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. You will be based at our clients office in Sheffield, where you will have the support of friendly colleagues and management team. The opportunity to relocate to Bath is also an option, with the majorityof the Customer Support Team being based there.You must be prepared for UK Domestic and International travel. Candidates who are familiar with software coding using ORACLE and Windows Desktop are at an advantage.
