Job Description

Page Personnel are looking to recruit a Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist on a 6 month temporary contract for our Public Sector client based in Sheffield.Client DetailsOur Client are a great, well established public sector organisation based in Sheffield.DescriptionThe Key responsibilities of the role will include but not limited to:

  • Supporting the Procurement manager with the overall procurement process
  • Preparation and attendance at various meetings, including project team meetings, & moderation meetings.
  • Keeping of detailed notes of meetings
  • Managing communications with bidders through the Councils supplier portal.
  • Co-ordinating communications between project team and bidders including responses to clarification questions.
  • Keeping accurate records, updating action logs
  • As one of the Councils largest and most high profile tenders the work is fast paced so being highly organised and able to stay on top of a number of competing priorities is extremely important. As is the need to be precise and accurate in communicationswith all parties.
  • The work can mainly be undertaken at home however there is some requirements to attend in person meetings so local to Sheffield would be preferable.
ProfileThe successful Procurement & Supply Chain Specialist will have:
  • An understanding of procurement processes
  • Have an understanding of the tendering process
  • Be able to effectively communicate with bidders
  • Have experience managing meetings as well as note taking
You will also need to be immediately available or be able to start within a week.Job Offer
  • £15 - £17 hourly rate
