Job Description

A great opportunity has arisen to join a leading supplier to the Oil & Gas & Aerospace industry as Process Improvement Managerleading a new and diverse team withinMeltingJob Summary The object of this role it to supply the Melt Operations team with process support to deliver improvements/projects that have been agreed by the Snr Management team for Operations, Maintenance and Technical. You will be expected to use a data driven approachto deliver demonstrable improvements and have the ability to structure and lead a cross functional team. An analytical approach will be key to the role, turning data into facts and being able to translate this into something meaningful to maintain and improveengagement. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in the management of Technical, Quality and Maintenance resources to systematically evaluate risk assess the process, identify improvements, and introduce them in a manner that is controlled and fundamentally improves the safety, quality and reliabilityof the process.
  • Drive improvements in Safety, Quality, and reliability by maintaining applicable scorecards, introducing and managing improvement plans in these areas.
  • Maintain RFT KPIs and identify areas of improvement from the collected data
  • Develop lead and deliver management initiatives to drive efficiencies within manufacturing, stock management processes and procedures.
  • Work with the Operations and Maintenance teams to introduce autonomous maintenance into the area
  • Working with a cross functional team, fully introduce and promote TPM principles.
  • Improve associated documentation to create a new standard approach in conjunction with the EHS, QA and Technical departments.
  • Work with operations and support functions to ensure key assets achieve the performance required to hit the business plan.
  • Working with the management team, drive and improve workplace organisation, improve current plant standards using C.I tools
  • Lead and develop procedures for FOD reduction principles to ensure we are meeting the requirements of AS9146.
Skills, Experience & Qualification
  • Degree in a relevant technical discipline
  • Process Management experience preferredeg six sigma / equivalent
  • Proficiency in technical practices including and understanding of melt process, materials and principles
  • Good standard of numeracy and literacy
  • Microsoft OfficeIntermediate to Advanced level
  • General management business acumen, including management experience within a high performing leading world class manufacturing environment. Cost management, P&L Management, Manpower planning, Capacity planning, Materials control

  • Demonstrates a proactive and motivated attitude clear drive to achieve results
