Due to continued growth into 2021, Elevation Engineering and Manufacturing have a fantastic opportunity for a Process / Production Engineer to join a leading specialist services business in South Yorkshire. The Process / Production Engineers duties and responsibilities will include:- Working closely with Production Management to promote the efficient operation of theproduction department utilizing 5S and lean principles where applicable.- Supporting cross-functional teams and external sub-contractors, clients with various services and technical engineering responsibilities- Contributing to the departments quality performance and awareness, promotes initiatives toensure the first time right target is high on the agenda.- Responsible for the technical review of test orders received and planning of respectiveorders into the business- Contribute towards the continuous improvement and development of the department throughinnovation and various projects.- Assist in the development and presentation of internal KPIs inorder drive departmental and business performance.We are very keen to speak to you if you have the following skills and experience:- Bachelors of Science degree in a science or testing related field (preferred)- Knowledge in the fields of Mechanical Testing and Metallurgy including technical knowledge of overall laboratory requirements and capabilities - In-depth understanding of testing concepts.- Possess strong computer skills.- Possess strong communication skills (both written & oral)Elevation Engineering & Manufacturing is a specialist recruitment consultancy dealing with engineering, technical and operational positions in Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
