We have an opportunity for a full-time experienced Solicitor to join our Private Client department. We are looking for a talented, motivated, and client-focused individual.The successful candidate will work alongside our Head of Department and Operations Manager on a diverse range of tasks including:• Advising and supporting clients on estate planning matters, Wills, Powers of Attorney and Court of Protection, Estate and Trust administration• Drafting Wills, Powers of Attorney, Trust deeds and documents• Dealing with high net worth clients, trusts and estates• Preparing and filing tax returns, including annual trust tax returns Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience, and comprehensive knowledge of all Wills, Trusts, and Probate matters. Our ideal candidate will also be ableto demonstrate:• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word and Outlook• Excellent communication and client care skills• Strong drafting and presentation skills• Clear verbal and written communication skills• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team• Able to work with minimal supervision, take responsibility, and display initiative• Commitment to professional development• STEP membership is preferred but not essential
